Common questions
Is Scylla an IDE?
Scylla is an AI development workbench with IDE capabilities. It combines editing, Git, terminal, agents, policy, brokered connections, and project context.
Does Scylla replace my AI subscription?
No. Scylla uses supported provider accounts and models you already have access to.
What is Scylla Team?
Scylla Team combines commercial Scylla use with centralized seat management, organization-managed Policy, and shared STRATA configuration for development teams.
What is the difference between Professional and Team?
Professional is for an individual using Scylla commercially with local STRATA and personal policy controls. Team includes the Professional entitlement plus shared STRATA, shared Knowledge and Skills, organization-managed Global Policy, and centralized member, seat, and installation management.
Does Team include Professional?
Yes. A Team seat includes the commercial-use entitlement provided by Professional.
Do Team users need license keys?
No. Team members sign in with a Scylla Account. Professional may still use a license key or account entitlement depending on final implementation.
How is Shared STRATA configured?
Admins configure Shared STRATA in the Team web dashboard. After sign-in, Scylla can receive that configuration so developers do not paste endpoints or API keys.
