Release notes

0.5.4-beta setup can install provider CLIs and the Visual C++ runtime, and drops the team-server installer step.

What's New

  • Setup can start the official installers for Codex CLI, Claude Code, Cursor CLI, and Muse Code after Scylla is copied. The MSI does not bundle those tools, and sign-in stays with each vendor.
  • Setup can install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 x64 runtime that Scylla needs to open. Visual Studio itself is not installed.
  • The installer no longer asks for a Team Memory server. Team Memory is available after you sign in.
  • The Scylla mark is on the setup wizard and the Start menu shortcut.
  • Safe Guard review groups findings by file and pattern, can recheck a file, and can allow or exclude every open finding of a severity.

Known Issues

  • Installer is unsigned (signature_status: unsigned).
  • download_url is https://scyllaworkbench.com/downloads/releases/Scylla-0.5.4.msi after the MSI is in shared/releases/.
